
Ingredients:
Split urud dhal - 1 tsp
Onions - 2 medium (roughly chopped)
Tomatoes - 1 (optional)
Dry red chillies - 2
Tamarind paste - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp
Start:
In a pan,heat little oil and add the urud dhal. When it turns a slight brown, add the onions and red chillies and fry for a while.
Then add tomatoes and fry for a minute. Remove from heat. Allow to cool.
Grind the mixture in a blender with salt and some water.
